A few things
I took the GMAT this morning. It’s a terrible test, but I was pleased with the results. yay.
For the record, I would never have 10 apples (7 green and 3 red) & pull three out randomly. I wouldn’t do a lot of things randomly. I will never care about the probability that 2 will be green & 1 will be red. Just saying.
I also don’t care about any of the properties of x.

I enjoyed this skit of Maya Rudolph as Beyonce & Justin Timberlake as Bony Bear from SNL. All the impersonations were great. Thanks to my father in law for sharing.

A few things that are making me happy lately (inspired by Lia):
My family. Facetiming with my niece. Visits from our family & just spending time together. Always too short, but always savored.
Chicago restaurants. My favorite places I’ve eaten in the past few months: Bite Cafe, Bleeding Heart Bakery, Table 52 & Slurping Turtle.

Happy birthday to my mom. Her laughter is absolutely contagious & something I can close my eyes & hear at any given moment. She’s happiness & warmth. She has pushed me for as long as I can remember to work hard, to be good, to help others, to remember family & your rootsalways, & to treat life like a complete adventure. No one has ever made me go out of my comfort zone...
Things to Worry About →
In 1933, F. Scott Fitzgerald ended a letter to his 11-year-old daughter, Scottie, with the following:
Things to worry about: Worry about courage Worry about cleanliness Worry about efficiency Worry about horsemanship Things not to worry about: Don’t worry about popular opinion Don’t worry about dolls Don’t worry about the past Don’t worry about the future Don’t worry about growing up Don’t worry...
