Happy birthday to my mom. Her laughter is absolutely contagious & something I can close my eyes & hear at any given moment. She’s happiness & warmth. She has pushed me for as long as I can remember to work hard, to be good, to help others, to remember family & your rootsalways, & to treat life like a complete adventure. No one has ever made me go out of my comfort zone more than she has, no one has taught me more, no one has expected more out of me, & no one has worked harder to make me who I am today.

My mom was born in the year of the dragon. There are more children born in the year of the dragon in China, than any other year. It’s respected & lucky to be a dragon. My mom is every part dragon, passionate & fiery, demanding & strong, lucky & loyal, direct & generous. & my mom’s a twin [hi Auntie Mo!]. Together they are an unstoppable pair, a force to be reckoned with & I love them both so much.
